Every Word??
If you believe every word written in your Bible, tell me again why so many don’t honor the Sabbath when it is a sign we belong to יהוה? Exodus 31:13; Ezekiel 20:12,20.
What part of “If you love me keep my commandments,”John 14:15 doesn’t apply to us today?
Tell me again why so many that claim to be True Believers celebrate modern holidays and know little to nothing about the Biblical Feasts and Festivals? Exodus 12:14,19,
These Feasts were even celebrated by the early believers and are found still found to be honored and celebrated in the Apostolic Scriptures- Luke 2:42; John 5:1; 7:2, 10, 14; 12:20; Matthew 26:2, 17, 29; Acts 18:21; and 1Corinthians 5:8.
Even in the coming Kingdom we find that people everywhere will be obedient: “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says יהוה ,” Isaiah 66:23.
So tell me again exactly why so many know so little about the Biblical Feasts and Festivals but we all sure know when Valentine’s Days was. Could it be they love the worldly spouse and material blessings more than the One called Master (“Lord, Lord”)?
Let me guess, it’s because these things are only for Israel?? Have you read Numbers 15:16? “The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.'”(Also read Exodus 12:49; Levitiicus 24:22; Numbers 9:14)
What about Micah 5:15? “I will take vengeance in anger and wrath on the nations that have not obeyed me.” Didn’t you know Gentile according to most dictionaries means not Jewish, of other nations? So if you aren’t a Jew by blood or a Hebrew aren’t the disobedient in danger of curses and wrath? Is sickness a curse? What about death?
If Moses said the Torah was not out of reach, this is not difficult, Deuteronomy 30:11, was he lying or is there a possibility what we have been taught is years of misinformation? Well, let’s look at a couple other verses that say pretty much the same thing Moses said ,”I can do all this through him who gives me strength,” Philippians 4:13. What about 1John 5:3, “In fact, this is love for יהוה: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome.” Who taught us the Sabbath was a burden? What’s so difficult about honoring His days instead of man’s Sunday? Sunday is also commonly known ands the Lord’s day, have you read what exactly the Lord’s day really is? Are you sure The this Rapture is biblical? “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one,” John 17:15.
What about Matthew 13:30, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”
Can you show me one holiday everyone, or at least a good number of people celebrate, that’s popular thats found in the Bible? I bet you could find the real history on these holidays if you “Googled it.”
If, “All Scripture is יהוה-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of יהוה may be complete, fully equipped for every good work,” who taught and introduced Dispensationalism(different rules for different periods of time- doesnt Malachi 3:6 says He doesn’t change)? What biblical Prophet, Disciple, or Apostle taught Supersesstionism, which is another form of Replacement Theology? Who introduced Antinominiasm(Torah-less-ness) and Antisemitism(the hatred of all things Hebraic/Jewish) ?
Why did we inherited and accept Sunday as our day of rest and worship when it was ישוע המשיח Y’shua HaMashiach’s tradition on Sabbath, which was and has always been the seventh day, Saturday? “He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read,” Luke 4:16?
If it was Messiahs tradition and Paul still taught from Torah(יהוה’s Loving Instructions pointing to the mark, The Way) because there was no New Testament written and his letters weren’t considered Scripture yet, why don’t so many believers honor the Sabbath and the BIBLICAL Feasts and Festivals when the Apostles were still doing such and it’s written they did such over 85 times in Acts alone?
***Acts 17:1-4; 13:13-15; 13:42 is a really good one, 43,44; 16:11-13; 18:1-11***
Now be it known we do not follow the Father’s Instructions for salvation, we follow the Instructions because we are saved! Because He told us to. It’s the same reason you obey the traffic signs, not to be saved from traffic tickets but because the Judge spared you, showed you mercy and grace! Now that you are free from the curse of having to pay a fine, you are free to obey. Please take some time to think and pray about these things! I encourage you to open your Bible and look up each of the verses presented.
Shalom and may you be blessed!
Birekoth (blessings) to you,
Gary Murphy
