The Jezebel spirit is a rebellious spirit, one that in man’s psychology is also referred to as the Devil’s Advocate.

“For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of יהוה, He also does reject you as sovereign.” 1 Samuel 15:23

• The critical, Jezebel spirit steps across your threshold to straighten you out even when you are right. They don’t see the bigger picture nor behold the beam in their own eye.
• You cannot convince the Jezebel spirit that she is mistaken. She will persist and try to control you into confessing what she wants to hear.
• Run from the Jezebel spirit while you can.

• It is a deep anger that drives the Jezebel spirit.

• The Jezebel spirit in her anger cuts people off because she holds onto anger and unforgiveness. Holding onto anger is like holding a ball of fire and hoping the other person is hurt. But she only hurts herself.
• You don’t have to expose a Jezebel, she will expose herself.

• Men can also have the Jezebel spirit. The reason I normally use the term “she” is because Jezebel is a female name. However this spirit is not limited to women.

• Not only does Jezebel deceive other people she also deceives herself.
• Jezebel hides behind a mask of deception.
• Jezebel has not experienced maturity.
• Jezebel claiming to serve Messiah still has a carnal nature. She will be somewhat nicer than other people yet she will be more subtle and still competes with you.
• Although Jezebel claims to keep Torah she is deceived because she only goes through the motions. Having cleansed the outside of the cup she has left the inside unclean. She is in fact a Whited wall.
